ILT Scholarship InformationILT’s Profile
ILT was created by the Invercargill Licensing Trust Act 1944 and opened its first four premises on 1 July 1944.
ILT belongs to the people of Invercargill and it follows therefore that ILT’s main focus is a total commitment to its community. This concept of community ownership is both ILT’s uniqueness and its reason for being.
Our vision is to help make Invercargill a vibrant city. More than ever before, we believe we are in a position to really make things happen and the momentum begun in the past years will develop even further in the future.
ILT is proud of the tremendous contribution it has made to its shareholders, the people of Invercargill, over the past 80 years.
The ILT Foundation was set up in 2006. A key purpose of the Foundation is to redistribute the community funding generated from gaming machines in ILT venues, to benefit the city and its residents.
