Commercial Operations

With a growing portfolio of trusted accommodation providers and food and beverage offerings, ILT is changing the hospitality landscape in Invercargill.

ILT operates 23 businesses in the hospitality industry in Invercargill, including hotels, motels, restaurants, bars and retail liquor outlets, along with a motel in Dunedin and another in Christchurch.

We are committed to providing first class options for both our residents of, and visitors to, Invercargill and this is evident both in our commitment to creating new vibrant businesses such as The Langlands, but also our continual reinvestment in our existing establishments.

Whether you are looking for a homestyle tavern experience or a high class cocktail evening, we have a range of offerings to suit the occasion. And just by enjoying yourself in one of our establishments, you are contributing to our local community.

More than just a room

In Invercargill, we offer 3 bespoke hotel options along 2 superior motel choices for larger groups and families. Our hotels include 2 inner city options: The Langlands (4.5 star, completed in September 2022) and The Kelvin Hotel (3.5 star). Both of these offer all the amenities you will need for a wonderful stay, the convenience of a great location and attentive southern service.

The Ascot Park Hotel (4 star) is Invercargill’s premier conference hotel and is only 5 mins from the inner city. With a choice of hotel, apartment and even motel accommodation set in park like surroundings, it is also a very popular preference. Balmoral Lodge Motel and Homestead Villa Motel round out our Invercargill options and both provide a home-away-from-home experience with excellent rooms and warm service.

We’re proud to offer the same Southland service from our motels in Dunedin (Cable Court Motel) and in Christchurch (Ashford Motor Lodge). Welcoming guests from throughout the world, these motels not only contribute to the cities in which they are located, but as with all of our businesses, the profits are returned to Invercargill community groups.

When you book a room in any of the ILT’s seven accommodation options, you not only get personal service, excellent facilities and a great night’s sleep, you also contribute to the well being of our community so you can rest even easier on your travels.
