Emma says she is very fortunate to be an ILT Tertiary Scholarship recipient.

“I’m very proud to come from a province that values its people and community through the kindness and support ILT shows for others.  Thank you for being an organisation that has made such a huge difference to the lives of many,” said Emma.

“Receiving the scholarship has made a huge difference in me being able to achieve my aspirations,” she said.

Every year ILT awards up to 65 scholarships to students commencing a full-time undergraduate degree.  Each recipient receives financial support of $2,000 per year for 3 years.

The process of earning an ILT tertiary scholarship is quite an undertaking for the applicants, each person is interviewed by a panel of 3 highly regarded adjudicators. They are assessed across a range of criteria that takes into account their grades, community commitment and future ambition.

ILT has given over 600 scholarships to tertiary students, equating to over $4 Million dollars.
