We’re excited to share the latest chapter in the Ascot Park Hotel’s story – the beloved hotel has undergone a modern refurbishment to its reception and foyer area.
As you walk through the doors, you’ll immediately notice the vibrant branding that now takes pride of place in the foyer.
The hotel’s main reception desk has had a major facelift and the surrounding areas now feature bespoke carpet, refreshed interior design and distinctive furnishing that create an inviting place for guests to unwind and enjoy.
Chris Ramsay, ILT’s Chief Executive, said the ongoing investment in Ascot Park Hotel signals the importance of the iconic hotel to ILT’s operations.
“Ascot remains ILT and Invercargill’s premier conference and events centre. It is a world class hotel that ILT has invested heavily in, more recently with a rebrand and extensive room refurbishments. It has an amazing team of people that offer exemplary service.
We think the reception and foyer now more accurately reflect this and give a bold visual representation as visitors are welcome through the doors”, said Ramsay.
Ascot Park Hotel’s Executive Manager, Dean Nicol is delighted with the revamped foyer.
“Our guests are really enjoying the new space, where they can relax with a drink, take a meeting or simply soak up the ambience. It really has transformed the area,” said Dean.
One of the most striking additions is the custom-made carpet, a collaborative effort with local company Regal Floors. The design pays homage to the Ascot brand, with the distinctive horse head logo taking centre stage. It’s a nod to the hotel’s rich history while confidently looking toward the future.
But amidst all these changes, one thing remains constant – the warm southern welcome that guests have come to cherish. Dean assures visitors that the exceptional service they’ve come to expect will continue.
“While there are visual differences that you’ll surely appreciate, the essence of Ascot Park Hotel remains unchanged. Our dedicated team is here to provide outstanding service, creating memorable experiences for our valued guests,” said Dean.
