ILT is thrilled to announce the conclusion of The Great Pub Cash Giveaway, where one lucky winner walked away with the grand prize of $5,000. Pete Butler won the grand prize yesterday at The Northern Tavern, one of his locals.
Mr Butler said he was very happy to win!
“I’m just a casual sort of bloke so this is exciting,” he said.
Throughout the promotion, which ran from 14 July to 13 October, seven additional patrons each took home $1,000 from their local ILT taverns.
“We are pleased with the response to this promotion. It’s been a great way to engage with our loyal customers and offer them something extra,” said Chris Ramsay, ILT chief executive. “With $12,000 up for grabs, it is a chance to give back and provide a little extra excitement to people’s visits.”
The grand prize draw was held on Sunday, 13 October, with live audiences in seven of ILT’s neighbourhood taverns.
“We were thrilled to announce our $5,000 grand prize winner live, alongside the seven $1,000 weekly winners,” Ramsay continued. “It was a fantastic celebration of our loyal patrons who made this such a success.”
The promotion was designed to reward ILT’s regulars, and feedback from participants has been positive. “We launched this initiative to support our patrons during these challenging times, it was a bit of fun and a chance to win big,” Ramsay added.
Following the success of this year’s giveaway, ILT is considering making it an annual event as part of its ongoing efforts to create an engaging experience for patrons at its venues.
Ramsay said, “Future events and promotions were planned across ILT’s venues in line with creating a vibrant Invercargill.”
